Device link software overcomes the many disadvantages of indirect conversion, in which the source profile goes from CMYK, through LAB to then be re-converted to CMYK. In this process problems will occur with black and primary colours, as LAB cannot preserve the black channel.
basICColor DeviL device link software allows you to choose to retain the black separation and to preserve to 100% CMY and RGB as well as the grey, duplex and triplex colours. Being completely ICC-based means that this software will work with any ICC source or destination profiles.
