The digital printing division of Sinnott Bros has embraced the new PSD (Process Standard Digital) compliance based on the ISO12647-2 and ISO12647-7 printing standard.

Sinnott Bros has achieved exceptional print results with PSD-Check™ on their HP Indigo 3500. PSD provided the ability to monitor the press to the ISO printing standard and deliver a perfect ISOcoated-v2 match for clients on short print runs.

The business was looking for a simple solution for monitoring and controlling the quality of the digital press to the ISO12647-2 and ISO12647-7 standard. Now with PSD-Check™ Sinnott Bros is ready for the future implementation of the new coming ISO12647-8 validation print standard.

“PSD-Check™ is the easiest way to prepare for the future validation print standard (ISO12647-8). Under the future printing business model, digital printers will be expected to deliver the same quality as offset printers based on the ISO standard” commented Yves Roussange, director of ColourProcess.

With the implementation of PSD-Check™ compliance to the ISO12647-2 and ISO12647-7, Sinnott Bros is joining the IPMG Groups’ path for quality printing to the ISO12647 printing standard.
